Current Positions

Python Data Engineer
  • Lead our team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data so that our clients can make decisions on data quality.

  • Conduct complex data analysis, report on results, determine areas of quality errors and recommend pathway to improve.  

  • Implement processes and dashboard systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it

  • Collaborate with business teams to improve data architecture and data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making

Requirements:

  • 2+ years direct Python experience, including programming and using libraries. Show us how your understanding of Python Data structures and Data wrangling can help our clients.

  • Hands-on CI/CD deployment processes.

  • Minimum five years serving as an overall Data Engineer

  • Prefer experience with Python ETL framework.

Solaris System Administrator
  • Help us maintain system efficiency for a nation-wide, government-run healthcare IT data processing engine that supports over 10,000 Linux instances and nearly 600 instances of Solaris Unix physical and virtual servers

  • Provide system administration and timely troubleshooting support when contacted by the client Service Desk. Troubleshoot a variety of Unix systems and networks to include high volume/high systems such as Red Hat Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, zLinux, and AIX.  

  • Use automated provisioning tools (Kickstart, Jumpstart, or Ignite) to install operating systems on virtual servers including installation of layered systems software, such as Apache, Web Logic, Oracle DB, Tuxedo per instructions in SOPs.

  • Use client supported administrative tools such as Nagios and or Oracle Enterprise Operations Center for monitoring and administering UNIX servers.

  • Monitor system and log data in system admin logs.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Oracle Exadata Storage Servers; Oracle Infiniband Network and Switches; and Oracle ZFS Storage Appliances / Remote Replication

  • Proven experience engineering migrations from a variety of platforms. Working knowledge of varied storage platforms and how they interact with Solaris devices.

  • BA/BS Degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business or related scientific/technical  discipline, plus 5 years experience

  • 8 additional years of relevant experience maybe substituted for degree

Location:

  • At client site in Austin, Texas.

  • Telecommute two days per week.
